Visual Internet Clipboard (VIC)
VIC is a very useful web tool for clipping information from web pages. You can clip art, text, banners, etc. VIC has a web browser & text editer, you can make some very nice text documents by adding pictures from the internet. You can use VIC for school projects, research, presentations and more. All of the buttons in VIC have tooltips attached to them, that means when you hold the mouse over a button it tells you what its for. You must have IE4 installed on your computer. The web browser in VIC is only an extension of IE4 and must have IE4's runtime files. When installing VIC make sure you watch what directory it loads to. To install VIC simply unzip to the directory you want to un-pack it from. Once VIC is in the directory click on the setup.exe file and it will install VIC. VIC should then appear in your start menu. On installation of VIC you might get a dialog box that says access violation on showdoc.dll. If you do receive that error press the ignore button and the setup will continue. That error is not in my software, it has something to do with the system files or IE4 files. This error will not hurt your computer, and the software should run fine after.
WebLauncher
WebLauncher is a nice little utility for launching your favorite URL's . WebLauncher will also launch programs from any directory. WebLauncher will save all your URL's in a dat file called favorites.dat. To go to a saved URL just click on the scroll arrow on the URL address block. You can add the URL by pressing the add button, or remove URL's by pressing the remove button. WebLauncher also has a nice clock on it for telling the time. The clock is set to your computer time. WebLauncher also has a button that links to your favorites folder. You can leave WebLauncher running on your desktop or down size it and bring it back up either to tell the time or launch a URL.
